At Least 1 Injured in Willows Car Accident on Interstate 5 near County Road 57
Willows, California (August 9, 2022) – At least one person was injured in a car accident on Interstate 5 in Willows on Monday night, according to the Willows Fire Department.
The wreck happened north of County Road 57 just before 8:00 p.m. on August 8.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident, whose cause was not immediately established.
One of the drivers was transported to Enloe with unspecified injuries.
The occupants of the other vehicle were evaluated by medical personnel at the scene.
A canine in the first vehicle was not injured.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
