1 Injured after San Diego Truck Accident on 5 Freeway near Imperial Avenue
San Diego, California (July 22, 2022) – One person was hospitalized after a three-vehicle collision on Thursday morning in San Diego, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened around 11:21 a.m. July 21, on southbound 5 Freeway, north of Imperial Avenue.
As per the CHP officials, three vehicles, including a box truck, collided for reasons still under investigation.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and attended to the injured parties. One person sustained minor injuries after the collision and was transported to Kaiser Permanente Zion Medical Center in San Diego. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No other information regarding this incident was provided.
