1 Injured in San Jose Car Accident on 680 Freeway at Alum Rock Avenue

San Jose, California (September 15, 2022) – One person was hospitalized following a car accident on Wednesday evening in San Jose, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident occurred at around 5:04 p.m. on September 14, on northbound 680 Freeway at Alum Rock Avenue.
Police said a black Cadillac and a black Mazda crashed for unknown reasons.
Responding firefighters and medics attended to one person who complained of neck pain following the accident. The patient was transported to Reginal Medical Center of San Jose for further treatment. The name of the victim was not provided.
The Mazda sustained significant rear-end damage, while the Cadillac had major front right damage following the collision.
The vehicles were towed away from the accident scene.
