1 Injured in Santa Clarita Car Accident on Highway 14 and Sand Canyon Road
Santa Clarita, California (August 17, 2022) – According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was hospitalized following a car accident on Tuesday night in Santa Clarita.
The accident happened at around 8:38 p.m. on August 16, on northbound Highway 14, just north of Sand Canyon Road.
Per the CHP officials, two vehicles collided for reasons yet to be determined.
Emergency crews and medical personnel responded to the scene to attend to the injured parties. One person was transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The vehicles were blocking the HOV lane following the accident.
The cars were towed from the accident scene, and the HOV lane reopened at 6:01 p.m.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
