1 Injured in San Jose Car Accident on Highway 85 near De Anza Boulevard
San Jose, California (August 13, 2022) – One person was hospitalized following a multi-car accident on Friday afternoon in San Jose, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at around 3:58 p.m. on August 12, on Highway 85 near De Anza Boulevard.
Per the CHP officials, four vehicles crashed near De Anza Boulevard. One of the vehicles sustained significant front-end damage due to the collision.
Firefighters and medical personnel arrived at the crash site and attended to at least one person injured in the accident. One person sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for further treatment.
The vehicles were blocking the roadway following the car accident. Tow trucks removed the cars from the crash location.
All lanes were open as of 4:58 p.m.
The incident remains under investigation.
