Two vehicles collided Monday morning in the southbound lanes of the highway, sending one person to the hospital

Sausalito, Calif. – One person was taken to the hospital after two cars collided Monday morning on Highway 101 in Sausalito, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident happened around 8:11 a.m. in the southbound side of the highway near Alexander Avenue.
Two cars were involved in the collision.
A 63-year-old driver of one of the cars complained of pain to the rib cage.
The Southern Marin Fire Protection District responded to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital.
CHP officers are investigating the accident.
