Ontario, CA – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Monday afternoon on the 10 Freeway in Ontario.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place around 3:54 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the freeway near Archibald Avenue.
Reportedly, a Dodge Challenger hit the center divider wall, lost control, and traveled across traffic lanes then hit the bumper of a white Freightliner.
The driver of a silver Chevrolet Traverse told officers that debris from the collision hit and cracked her windshield.
The Dodge stopped near the Vineyard Avenue off-ramp and caught fire with someone still inside.
Firefighters responded to the scene and transported one person to San Antonio Regional Hospital as a precaution.
The crash is under investigation.
