1 Hospitalized After Crash on San Miguel Canyon Road in Watsonville

, Calif. – One person was taken to the hospital after two vehicles collided Friday morning at an intersection in Watsonville, the California Highway Patrol said.

Emergency personnel responded to San Miguel Canyon Road at Hall Road after receiving reports of a collision around 6:28 a.m.

The responders found two cars involved in the crash and blocking the roadway.

Paramedics evaluated the parties involved and transported one to Natividad Medical Center for treatment of cuts and abrasions.

Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
