Big rigs, also known as semi-trucks or tractor-trailers, are involved in many collisions in California every year. Many of these accidents result in serious injuries or even fatalities. Big rigs are more difficult to drive and stop compared to other vehicles because of their size and weight, making them more likely to be involved in accidents. Driver fatigue, speeding and distracted driving are also major contributing factors to semi-truck accidents.
Truck drivers and other drivers must drive safely and follow traffic laws to avoid these tragic accidents.
