At Least 1 Hurt in Ferndale Car Accident on Fernbridge
Ferndale, California (August 29, 2022) – One person was hospitalized after being involved in a head-on collision east of Ferndale on Monday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on the Fernbridge at around 8:08 p.m.
A white Ford Fusion and a silver Ford Explorer were involved in the head-on collision.
It's unclear what caused the vehicles to collide.
One person was transported by ambulance to a hospital with a suspected shoulder injury.
The roadway was blocked temporarily as authorities worked to clear the scene.
