1 Injured in Tuesday Morning Car Accident on Interstate 5 near Los Feliz Boulevard in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, California (August 15, 2022) – One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision that happened Monday afternoon on a freeway in Los Angeles, the California Highway Patrol said.
At around 9 a.m., a Kia Forte and another vehicle collided on southbound Interstate 5 near Los Feliz Boulevard under unclear circumstances.
Airbags were deployed in at least one of the vehicles.
A male party got out of one of the cars and laid down in the center divider.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported an occupant of the Kia to the hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities did not immediately determine the cause of the collision, but they are investigating.
