1 Injured in San Leandro Crash on Interstate 880 near Davis Street
San Leandro, California (September 1, 2022) – One person was taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle collision that took place Thursday evening in San Leandro, the California Highway Patrol said.
Authorities received reports of the accident at around 6:30 p.m. on northbound Interstate 880 at Davis Street.
A Toyota Camry, a Hyundai Elantra, a Toyota Sienna and two other cars were involved in the collision.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene shortly after the crash.
One person who complained of pain to the chest was transported to San Leandro Hospital for treatment.
Three vehicles were towed away with crash damage.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
