At Least 1 Injured in Claremont Accident on I-210 near Towne Avenue
Claremont, California (July 21, 2022) – At least one person was injured in a crash involving three big rigs in Claremont early Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities first received a report of the collision at around 3:50 a.m. on I-210 near the Towne Avenue off-ramp.
According to CHP, three big rigs and one other vehicle collided on the westbound side of the interstate and one of the rigs is believed to have rolled over following the impact.
At least one person was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
Traffic was impacted as the vehicles involved in the crash blocked lanes on the interstate.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the wreck.
