Vacaville, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a rollover collision that took place Sunday afternoon on Interstate 80 in Vacaville, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident was reported around 2:25 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the interstate just east of the Pena Adobe Road off-ramp.
The accident involved a gray crossover SUV and a red Nissan Kicks. The SUV overturned and landed onto its side, and the Nissan acquired three broken tires.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported one person to Northbay VacaValley Hospital with the complaint of pain to the back.
All westbound lanes except the No. 1 lane were briefly closed following the crash.
