1 Injured in Saturday Morning Sacramento Crash on Interstate 80 at Watt Avenue
Sacramento, California (July 31, 2022) – One person was hospitalized after two vehicles collided early Saturday morning on Interstate 80 in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck was reported at about 2:55 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the freeway under the Watt Avenue off-ramp.
A black 4-door Mercedes-Benz C300 collided with another car for unknown reasons.
An unspecified number of parties were trapped inside one of the vehicles but were responsive.
Firefighters responded to the scene and helped the car occupants to get out.
The report said one person was hospitalized with unknown injuries. The patient was also arrested for an unknown traffic code violation.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
