1 Suffers Head Injury in Modesto Car Crash on Highway 99 near Pelandale Avenue
Modesto, California (June 22, 2022) – One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision that took place Tuesday afternoon on a highway in Modesto, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened at about 3:30 p.m. on southbound Highway 99, just north of Pelandale Avenue.
A white Toyota Tacoma and a green Toyota Tundra were involved in the accident.
Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked the Nos. 1 and 3 lanes.
One person who sustained a laceration to the head was transported to Memorial Medical Center for treatment.
Both cars were towed away from the scene.
CHP is investigating the collision.
