1 Injured in Fontana Car Accident on 10 Freeway near Cherry Avenue
Fontana, California (July 9, 2022) – One person was sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision that happened Friday morning on a freeway in Fontana, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred at about 10:27 a.m. on westbound 10 Freeway, just west of Cherry Avenue.
A red Dodge Ram collided with a burgundy Honda sedan for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles was left blocking the No. 1 lane, and the other stopped in the center divider.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported one person to Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center with minor injuries.
Investigators did not immediately determine the cause of the collision.
