One Injured in Fresno County Accident on Highway 41 and Elkhorn Avenue
Fresno County, California (December 17, 2021) – One person was hospitalized after an alleged DUI accident on Friday evening in Fresno County, according to the California HIghway Patrol.
The incident happened on Highway 41 and Elkhorn Avenue at about 5:30 p.m.
A semi truck was reportedly trying to make a turn onto Highway 41 northbound when it was struck by a Hyundai that failed to stop at a red light.

The driver of the Hyundai was extricated and transported to a hospital for treatment.
CHP said the driver of the Hyundai is suspected to have been driving under the influence and will be arrested once he is released from the hospital.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
