1 Injured in Car Accident at Shaw and Howard Avenues in Fresno
Fresno, California (October 5, 2021) – One person was seriously injured in a Monday evening car crash in Fresno.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 7:42 p.m. October 4, at Shaw Avenue and Howard Avenue.
Two vehicles are reported to have collided on West Shaw Avenue in unclear circumstances.
The paramedics and firefighters who responded to the incident found one person who had sustained major injuries in the accident.
The unidentified victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
A stretch of Shaw Avenue was shut down as the officers processed the scene.
More details about the crash were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
