1 Severely Injured in Selma Car Crash on Highway 43 at Elkhorn Avenue
Selma, California (June 29, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a crash that happened Tuesday afternoon in Selma, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The patient was hospitalized in critical condition after the Highway 43 car accident that happened at around 2:18 p.m. at East Elkhorn Avenue.
Authorities said a Toyota Camry and a large farm-type truck were involved in the accident. The Camry struck a power pole and came to a rest up against it.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported one person to Community Regional Medical Center with severe injuries. The patient was listed in critical condition but was stable.
Investigators are collecting information to determine the cause of the collision.
