1 Injured in Buena Park Accident on Highway 91 near Knott Avenue
Buena Park, California (August 16, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a minor injury car accident that injured at least one person on Monday afternoon in Buena Park.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 5:17 p.m. on August 16, on westbound Highway 99, just east of Knott Avenue.
Per the CHP officials, three vehicles including a white Hyundai Sonata collided for reasons yet to be determined. The Hyundai sustained significant front and rear-end damage following the collision.
Firefighters and medics arrived at the scene to render aid to at least one person with minor injuries due to the accident. The total number of patients was not immediately released.
Officials blocked lanes 4 and 5 following the crash. The vehicles were towed away from the accident scene.
The roadway was clear as of 6:02 p.m.
An investigation is ongoing.
