1 Injured in City of Industry Accident on Highway 60 near Fullerton Road
City of Industry, California (August 11, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a four-car accident that injured at least one person on Friday morning in City of Industry.
The accident occurred at around 7:29 a.m. on August 10, on westbound Highway 60, just east of Fullerton Road.
As per the CHP officials, four vehicles collided for reasons still under investigation. One of the cars was emitting smoke following the accident.
Responding emergency crews arrived at the scene and aided at least one person hurt due to the accident. Officials are yet to provide the total number of injured persons and their current condition.
Following the car accident, authorities issued a SigAlert for approximately thirty minutes, closing lane 1 and the HOV lane. The SigAlert was cancelled, and all lanes opened as of 8:36 a.m.
One of the involved cars overturned following the incident. The vehicles were towed away from the accident.
No additional information concerning this collision was released.
An investigation is ongoing.
