Responding crews said two vehicles collided head-on in the area in unclear circumstances

Sacramento, Calif. – Authorities are investigating a head-on collision on Walerga Road in North Sacramento Tuesday morning.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the wreck at around 6:31 a.m. on the southbound Walerga Road just north of Loop Boulevard.
Responding crews said two vehicles collided head-on in the area in unclear circumstances.
One person was injured in the incident, but the extent of the injuries was not known.
An ambulance was requested for the crash site.
More details regarding the mishap were not provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
