1 Injured in Sacramento Car Accident on Highway 99 near Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard
Sacramento, California (September 7, 2022) – One person sustained minor injuries after a two-vehicle accident Tuesday morning in Sacramento, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident happened at around 11:40 a.m. on September 6, on Highway 99 near Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard.
Per the report, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. One of the cars was fully engulfed by fire following the crash.
Emergency crews and medical personnel arrived at the scene and attended to at least one person injured in the accident. The injured party's name and current condition were not immediately released.
The vehicles were blocking the exit lane following the incident. The roadway was clear as of 12:28 p.m.
