1 Hurt in Sacramento Accident on Rio Linda Boulevard and Sonoma Avenue
Sacramento, California (September 5, 2022) – One person was injured when a police chase ended in a collision in Sacramento on Sunday morning, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
The incident began in the area of 3200 block of Northgate Boulevard when police responded to reports of an assault in the area.
An armed suspect fled the scene in a vehicle and led police on a chase, which eventually ended in the area of Rio Linda Boulevard and Sonoma Avenue when the suspect collided with another vehicle.
A passenger in the second vehicle was hospitalized with minor injuries.
The suspect was taken into custody at the scene.
The incident is under investigation.
