One Hurt in Bakersfield Crash on Highway 99 and Ming Avenue
Bakersfield, California (January 18, 2022) – One person was injured in a traffic accident in Bakersfield on Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At least two vehicles were involved in the collision that occurred on northbound Highway 99 at Ming Avenue.
It's unclear how the vehicles collided in the incident that was reported at about 11:20 a.m. January 16.
CHP said emergency crews responded to the scene and attended to one person injured in the collision.

The party was then transported to a hospital for further treatment. There was no update on the condition of the hospitalized patient.
The northbound lanes of the highway were closed near Ming Avenue for over one hour as crews worked to clear the scene.
The cause of the collision is under investigation by the CHP.
