1 Hurt in Buttonwillow Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Highway 43
Buttonwillow, California (January 18, 2022) – At least one person was hurt in a two-vehicle collision on Monday night in Buttonwillow.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 5 Freeway near Highway 43 at about 10:33 p.m., January 17.
A semi-truck and a black SUV were involved in the collision. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was yet to be established.
Officials say at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
