1 Injured in Car Accident on 880 Freeway near Whipple Road in Hayward
Hayward, California (December 18, 2021) – A major injury multi-vehicle collision was reported on Friday morning in Hayward.
The accident happened along the northbound lanes of Interstate 880 Freeway near Whipple Road at about 11:25 a.m., December 17.
The officers who responded to the incident located three vehicles at the scene of the accident. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
As per the CHP report, at least one person was seriously injured in the accident.
More details about the accident were not immediately released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
