1 Injured in Redding Collision on Highway 299 near Black Ranch Road
Redding, California (September 27, 2021) – At least one person was injured in a head-on collision early Monday morning in Redding.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 299 near Black Ranch Road at about 12:45 a.m.
A Chevrolet Trailblazer is reported to have collided head-on with a second car. The events leading up to the collision, however, were yet to be established.
The CHP said at least one person was hospitalized after being injured in the morning collision. The severity of the injuries suffered by the victim was not immediately disclosed.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
