One vehicle reportedly crashed into the rear of another on New Navy Base Road near Samoa Bridge and Highway 255

Samoa, CA – One person was injured in a collision between two vehicles in Samoa on Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck took place on New Navy Base Road, just north of the Samoa Bridge and Highway 255.
One vehicle reportedly crashed into the rear of another.
A person in one of the vehicles had chest pains and was transported to a hospital.
Both vehicles came to a rest blocking the roadway and had to be removed by tow trucks.
The cause of the collision remained under investigation.
