1 Injured in Car Accident on 680 Freeway near Livorna Road in Alamo
Contra Costa, California (September 9, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a car crash that occurred in Alamo, Contra Costa, on Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on southbound 680 Freeway near Livorna Road at around 4 a.m.
A big rig and a second vehicle were involved in the collision. However, the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
The impact of the collision caused one of the vehicles to flip onto its roof.
Officials say one person was seriously injured in the accident and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
