1 Seriously Injured in Collision Involving Cement Truck on Highway 58 near General Beale Road in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California (September 12, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a collision involving a semi-truck in Bakersfield on Monday afternoon.
At around 1:45 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a traffic collision on Highway 58 near General Beale Road.
A semi-truck hauling dry cement reportedly collided with another vehicle on the highway.
One of the vehicles overturned after the collision.
Officials say one person suffered major injuries in the crash and was flown to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
