According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 11:35 a.m. on Highway 60 near Fairway Drive.
Authorities say a blue sedan was traveling on the roadway and rear-ended a big rig.
One person suffered minor injuries in the accident and was treated at the scene.
