San Bernardino, Calif. – One person was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred on Saturday morning near Barstow.
The accident was reported at around 10:14 a.m. on westbound Interstate 40 Freeway near mile marker 8, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A motorcycle was traveling on the freeway when it was rear-ended by a car in unclear circumstances.
The rider was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to Antelope Valley Medical Center for treatment.
