1 Injured in San Diego Car Accident on 5 Freeway near Old Town
San Diego, California (August 3, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a car accident that left at least one person with minor injuries on Tuesday afternoon in San Diego, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at around 5:35 p.m. on August 2, on 5 Freeway, north of Old Town.
Per the report, three vehicles collided for reasons yet to be determined.
Emergency crews and medical personnel arrived at the scene and aided at least one person injured in the collision. The total number of patients and their current condition were not immediately released.
The cars were blocking lane 1 following the collision.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
