1 Injured in El Granada Car Accident on Highway 1 near Medio Avenue
El Granada, California (September 22, 2022) – One person sustained minor injuries following a two-vehicle accident on Wednesday night in El Granada, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened around 8:16 p.m. on September 21, on northbound Highway 1, between Miramar Drive and Medio Avenue.
Police said a blue Jeep wrangler and a minivan crashed for reasons yet to be determined. The Jeep overturned following the collision.
Firefighters and medical personnel rushed to the scene to aid one person injured in the collision. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.
Authorities blocked the roadway due to the accident.
The vehicles were towed away from the crash site.
