1 Hurt in Santa Clara Accident on Highway 101 near San Tomas Expressway
Santa Clara, California (August 24, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a car accident that injured at least one person on Tuesday night in Santa Clara.
The accident happened at around 11:29 p.m. on August 23, on southbound Highway 101, just south of San Tomas Expressway.
Police said a Honda Civic and a gray sedan collided for reasons yet to be determined.
Firefighters and medical personnel arrived at the scene to attend to at least one person injured in the accident. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.
The sedan sustained minor side damage following the accident. The two vehicles were removed from the crash site by tow trucks.
Further details regarding this crash were not provided.
The car accident remains under investigation.
