One person was injured after a semi-truck and a pickup truck collided on the 5 Freeway near Cannon Road in Carlsbad
San Diego, Calif. – Authorities are investigating a two-car accident that left at least one person injured in Carlsbad on Thursday morning.
The accident was reported around 10:28 a.m. on the northbound 5 Freeway near Cannon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A semi-truck and a pickup truck were involved in the collision. The events preceding the collision were not immediately established.
CHP reports that one person suffered minor injuries in the accident and was evaluated at the scene. It is unknown if the victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.
