Authorities responding to the incident recovered a black Nissan sedan and a Chevrolet pickup truck that were involved in the evening collision
Carmel Valley, Calif. – At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle collision near Carmel Valley in Monterey County on Monday evening.
The 4:51 p.m. collision occurred on Carmel Valley Road near Miramonte Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A black Nissan sedan and a Chevrolet pickup truck were involved in the evening collision. The circumstances surrounding the collision, however, were not yet to be established.
Authorities say one person suffered minor injuries and was treated at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
