San Diego, CA. – A pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a car in the Chollas Creek neighborhood of San Diego on Sunday night.
The auto-pedestrian accident happened at around 10:27 p.m. on University Avenue near 54th Street, the San Diego Police Department reported.
A man was reportedly struck by a 2016 Toyota Camry traveling northbound on 54th Street.
The pedestrian suffered major injuries including a brain bleed, fractured left fibula, and liver laceration.
