Concord, Calif. – One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision near Concord in Contra Costa on Sunday night.
At around 8:42 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a car crash on the 680 Freeway near Highway 242.
The officers who responded to the incident recovered two vehicles at the accident scene. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
CHP says at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
