1 Injured in Car Accident on 405 Freeway near Fairview Road in Costa Mesa
Costa Mesa, California (April 28, 2022) – One person was injured in a multi-car crash on the 405 Freeway in Costa Mesa.
The accident was reported at around 12:12 p.m. on southbound I-405, near Fairview Road.
The California Highway Patrol said four vehicles were involved in the crash. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
At least one person was injured in the crash but the status of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
Several lanes of the freeway were temporarily blocked as officers examined the scene.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
