1 Injured in Tustin Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Red Hill Avenue
Tustin, California (July 12, 2022) – One person sustained minor injuries following a two-vehicle collision on Monday afternoon in Tustin, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash happened at around 12:21 p.m. July 11, on northbound 5 Freeway, just south of the Red Hill Avenue offramp.
The CHP officials said two vehicles crashed for reasons yet to be determined.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and attended to one person who complained of back pain following the collision. The name of the victim was not immediately released.
Authorities closed two right lanes as they worked on the scene. All the lanes were reopened at 1:07 p.m.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident location.
