A semi-truck and a blue sedan were involved in the collision on the eastbound side of the San Bernardino (10) Freeway
El Monte, Calif. – One person was injured in a collision that took place in El Monte early Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred the San Bernardino (10) Freeway just west of Santa Anita Avenue at around 5:05 a.m.
A semi-truck and a blue sedan were involved in the collision on the eastbound side of the freeway.
One person who was trapped in the sedan was extricated and transported to Greater El Monte Community Hospital with unspecified injuries.
The two far right eastbound lanes of the freeway were shut down as authorities investigated the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
