One Hurt in Long Beach Train Crash on Long Beach Boulevard

Long Beach, California (July 2, 2022) – One person was injured when a vehicle collided with a Metro A Line train on Saturday afternoon in Central Long Beach, according to a report by the Long Beach police.
The crash happened in the 1500 block of Long Beach Boulevard at about 3:25 p.m.
A gray car collided with the train on the tracks under unclear circumstances.
The woman driving the car was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The train was carrying approximately 12 passengers at the time, and none of them was hurt.
The Long Beach Police Department is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
