1 Injured in 580 Freeway Collision near Dougherty Road in Dublin
Dublin, California (April 16, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a Saturday morning multi-car crash in Dublin.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on westbound 580 Freeway near Dougherty Road at around 11:33 a.m.
Three vehicles were recovered at the scene of the accident, but the cause of the collision was not immediately established.
Officials say one person was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Several lanes of the freeway were blocked as officers examined the scene.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
