1 Injured in Bicycle Accident on Old Highway 80 near Buckman Springs Road in El Cajon
El Cajon, California (July 29, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a Friday morning bicycle accident that happened in El Cajon.
According to a CHP report, the accident happened at around 7:30 a.m. on Old Highway 80 near Buckman Springs Road.
Two bicyclists reportedly collided with a U-Haul van on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
Officials say one person was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
