Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Collision on 15 Freeway near Valley Parkway in Escondido
San Diego, California (August 1, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after crashing into a car on Sunday night in Escondido.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle accident happened on northbound 15 Freeway near Valley Parkway at around 10:26 p.m.
A motorcycle was traveling on the freeway when it slammed into the rear of a white van.
The officers who responded to the incident found both vehicles in the middle lanes.
The rider sustained major injuries in the accident and was transported by paramedics to Palomar Medical Center.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
