Lane County, Ore. – One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday morning in Eugene.

According to the Oregon Department of Transportation, the accident happened on the northbound lane of Highway 99 near Awbrey Lane and milepost 116 at around 6:04 a.m.

ODOT says a logging truck and a small compact car were involved. However, the events leading up to the collision were not immediately determined.

One person was taken to RiverBend Hospital with unspecified injuries.

More details about the accident were not released.
