A vehicle reportedly crashed into the rear of a semi-truck and burst into flames

Grass Valley, CA. – At least one person was hospitalized with serious injuries following a fiery car crash that occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Grass Valley.
The collision was reported around 2:15 p.m. on the Golden Center Freeway (Highway 49) near Dorsey Drive.
A vehicle reportedly crashed into the rear of a semi-truck in unclear circumstances and burst into flames.
The entire front end of the car, up to the windshield, was stuck underneath the trailer.
The driver of the car was able to exit the car on his own.
The driver was hospitalized with serious injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
